On the morning of the 27th, the whole family piled into two cars like the Griswolds and headed to Albany for lunch en route to Arlington for a few days at Quail Country. With full bellies from Blackbeard's, we made it in time for an afternoon skeet shoot before dinner and then watching the Falcon's game. All of the boys needed a refresher for the next morning's hunt, and the girls all shot too - just for fun! It was a gorgeous afternoon, but very cold. We all enjoyed a superb supper of pork chops, veggie medley, and rice compliments of the resident chef, Pepper. A couple of post-dinner games of Mountain Rummy later and we all went to bed. The next morning, we piled into 2 quail buggys and set out for the morning's hunt. Fifteen birdies later, we headed back to the main house for a lunch of mashed potatoes, peas, and meatloaf. It was delicious! The gals packed up, and headed to PCB for some girl time.
