Easter Continued

We were excited to experience Henry's first Easter and we were all dying for him to see his basket from the Easter bunny!

He's walking so well! But we have to watch him - he'll run for any ledge to step off of!

Chocolate!

I combined what I had for Henry with what my mom had for him - he had so much fun pulling it all out!

He LOVES being pushed in his new car!

He and Uncle Asa had a big time riding around!

Mom had the tables set perfectly for Easter lunch - Pammy and Pop, Aunt D and her 4 plus a fiancĂ©, and Gongaman all joined for lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Love these sweet moments - so very thankful that Henry and his Gongaman get to spend so much time together!

Henry was so excited to open his Easter prezzie from P&P! One of the books has a mirror in back and he LOVES looking at himself in it!

After lunch, I packed a few Cheez-Its in a few Easter eggs for Henry to hunt before we hit the road to head home.

Mr. King Snake wanted to join us!

But don't worry, he didn't interrupt Henry's little hunt!

Henry enjoying his cheez-it loot!

Brince and LL's first married Easter!

We missed Abbye terribly! She's been cray busy with work! We CANT WAIT to see her asap!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your family, too!

Beach and Easter

This little boo boo is the happiest thing! Here are some of my shots of him taken on my iPhone -  pulling up on everything and "walking" while holding onto furniture.

We are taking a baby swim class - sometimes he loves it and, well, sometimes he doesn't!

We graduated to a bigger car seat - poor thing was squenched into that other infant one - now he's so happy to face forward!

One night after Henry was asleep, I replaced my basket of pine cones with a bunch of bouncy balls - he loved the surprise!
Can't resist that little dimpled booty!

Over our Spring Break I got to meet my precious best friends new baby - Kennedy! She is beautiful and sweet and I love her so much!

Right before Easter, we headed to the Gulf for a little R&R with friends. Our beach trip was wonderful! My mom and I headed to PCB to meet Hollie and her mama with Hampton and Meredith and David.

We are working on Henry liking the sand! But he sure did look cute!

It's just JOY to have these little boogies together!

Here's my walker! He began at 10 1/2 months - so we are going on 3 weeks now. He's so adorable teetering along!

The Easter bunny brought Henry this Radio Flyer car - he LOVES it! It has a blinker and a little music button like a radio, and a horn too!

Our little bunny on Easter - his 11 month birthday!

Sweetest time! 3 generations of Griffins at church on Easter Sunday. That's Grady, Fain, Grayson, Henry, David, and Pop.

More Easter pics to come!

A Hometown Shower for Baby G

Over Easter Weekend, Baby Griffin and I were showered with love once again! My aunts along with my mom's special friends held a lovely shower on Saturday morning to celebrate our soon-to-be-here little one! Everything was just gorgeous! Finally, spring was in the air!

The hostesses went all out to make every detail so very special...here are the adorable cookies made with love by the talented Mrs. Jan McCord - they were just delicious!

A coffee bar was set in the sun room along with lemon water

A mum covered baby rattle graced the front door - isn't it just precious!!!

There was a wishing tree for Baby G on the front porch - so sweet!

David stopped by to tell everyone hello before the party began!

And so many special friends were there to celebrate with us! Loved seeing Amy and Mrs. Connie!

Even Baby Ansley and Baby Charlotte came with their pretty mommies - Shelley and Jesse! So glad to see these little princesses!

The food was just delightful! Fruit, cheese straws, lady fingers, cookies, chicken salad, and quiche graced the dining room table - it was all wonderful! And I loved the flower arrangements!

These are some pretty special women in my life!
Mrs. Judy, Claudette, Bevvy, my Aunt Jill, Trina, Jenn, Tina, and my Aunt D!

Baby Griffin was fixed up! He is totally spoiled already and will be the most chic bambino around!

Here are the grandmothers - what a lucky thing our little man will be!

It was a fabulous morning and I loved every minute of seeing everyone!
Now, I'm almost 36 weeks - only a month to go to meet our little bundle of love! I've had the best pregnancy, and have been so lucky to feel good over the last nine months. We can't wait to meet our baby boy though - he'll be here soon!
