Mr. and Mrs. Ryals Stone

On Friday, David and I loaded up the car for the big wedding weekend ahead. Lauren and Ryals were getting married at the beautiful Barnsley Gardens Resort's ruins. Be sure and check out the resort's site here. The rehearsal dinner on Friday night was hosted by Ryals' father there at the resort too. Saturday morning's bridesmaid's brunch was at Sage Inn a few miles away. I know my buddies took more pics than I did, so check their blogs this week - here's a few of the pics I took! It was an awesome wedding and fun weekend with our friends!
The welcome baskets for the guests were awesome!
These great beer glasses were in them....love it!

As well as beer, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and mixed nuts.

The tables at the rehearsal dinner were designated with fun names like "Milledge", "Kingsboro", "Darlington", etc. - places that meant something to Lauren at Ryals. The theme for the night was a Tribute to Bubba - Ryals' dog.

Dinner was absolutely delicious!

Loved the signature drink for the evening!

I had the most handsome date for the weekend!

The ballroom looked so pretty and so many people had wonderful things to say about Lauren and Ryals. After dinner, there was a slideshow and later, dancing!

And then, on Saturday we had the bridesmaid's brunch first.
The bridesmaid's luncheon was at Sage Inn...so pretty on Saturday morning!

Jill, Hollie, Emily, Meredith, Kim, Katie, and Renee

Lauren gave us gorgeous earrings to wear in the wedding and these awesome acrylic wine glasses too!

Here's a bunch of the girls in the "red house" getting ready for the big event!
Meredith, Renee, Glenn, Jill, Meghan, Ryanne, Katie, Georgia, and Kim

There were three styles of dress - a baby pink, a coral, and a tomato red. So pretty!

We had lots of snacks to keep us nourished while we were getting ready!

Suzanne came over from Athens and had fun hanging with me and my mom.

Kim and Nick

Kim, Hollie, Jill, and me. Isn't the backdrop so pretty! Everything was so lush and green! You can also kinda see the white wedding cake behind me...it was so good!

More of the girls! You can see a corner of the groom's cake too...that's Bubba on top!

Super cheese ball prom pose with the husbands!

So happy my parents were there! My cousin Ivy's graduation was Saturday morning and so they were able to go to that and then come to the wedding!

The tent looked gorgeous and the band was so good!

Lauren and Ryals left amidst lots of sparklers!

Congratulations to the new Stones!

A Great Mother's Day Weekend

I apologize for the lack of posts this week! Been a little busy around here!
I wanted to share with you two celebrations over the Mother's Day weekend - one was a party for our friends Will and Liz , and the other was a Mother's Day/Graduation lunch. I love sharing the details, and hope you like seeing them too! :)
The party was hosted at our Aunt Vicky and Uncle Grady's next door to my parents. Several couples helped give the party, including my parents and David's parents. The flowers for the party were yellow and red gerberas, and the decor was in shades of blue and coral.  All of the gerbera daisies looked beautiful in the blue and white vases and the yellow tulipiere.

I totally stole this pic from FB, but this is Liz and Will - they're the couple who the Low Country Boil was thrown for. They'll be getting married on SSI this summer, and we're excited for their wedding!

The hors d'oeuvres were so pretty on the outside table.

And all of the place settings were lovely! I loved the burlap table cloths with the coral and blue color scheme.

Then, on Sunday David and I had the honor of speaking to the highschool graduates and their families at our church during the senior breakfast that morning. We were happy to be asked, and do hope we shared a bit of wisdom with them!
Here's my awesome Mama! Love honoring my Mom - she makes everything special. She's the best!!!!
Afterward, our Mother's Day lunch/Ivy's graduation celebration was at my parent's. My Aunt Jill and her four kids, our friend Patti, and my in-laws all joined together.
All day on Saturday, my mom and me, along with Laura Lyn decorated for Sunday lunch. Ivy graduated from Darlington in Rome - their school colors are purple and white. He'll be attending Center College in Kentucky this fall, and will be running track for the school! So proud of him!

We didn't get a family pic on Sunday, but here's the whole Hardin crew this past Christmas. That's Ivy in the middle in the back between his brother Hugh and my brother Brince.

Mom found the cutest Pinterest project - pirouettes with twizzlers wrapped around them like little diplomas! So cute!

The purple alstromeria flowers and purple pom poms reflected Ivy's school colors.

Mom pulled together some pics of the four Duggans and 4 Coodys growing up together to have on display for the lunch too!

This is one of my favorites! Asa and Ivy are only a few weeks apart, so they were like little twins!

And now, look how grown up and cute they are!

Mom and Dad had an awesome lunch - standing rib roast, broccoli casserole, wild rice casserole, sweet potatoes, and more. It was delicious!

In addition to ice cream crunch, we had "Congratulations Ivy" cupcakes!

And these cute "pops" too!

One last bday dinner

On Monday night, we had one last celebration for David's 30th birthday here in Gainesville with our awesome friends Natasha and Trey McPhaul, and Laura and  Brett Fowler.
I used a lot of the decorations from David's party over the weekend so they could see it all. We enjoyed another night of tacos, but this time a la' Gena Knox.
Simple salad, Shrimp and BLT tacos, black bean cakes, and more cupcakes for dessert!

Our friends brought David such sweet thoughtful gifts! and we were so happy to have them over for the night!

JLo Love

Along with the talent this year on American Idol, I enjoy listening to the judges just as much. Randy has great feedback, Jennifer always boosts their confidence, and I laugh at everything that comes out of Steven's mouth. However, along with the entertaining singers and funny judges, I LOVE seeing what JLo is sporting that night. Really, does she ever miss a beat? She always looks fierce to me, and I know that she probably has a team of 20 that helps her look like this. Either way, in my book, she can do no wrong!
Here are a few of my favorite JLo looks from this season of AI.
I'm not sure what's more fierce....that leather strapped dress, or JLo's abs!

I loved this look...I thought her minimal makeup was pretty with the dress.

This was fun too!

Love the color of this dress, and her hair is gorge.

She really looks great with red lipstick. Cute shorts and top!

And I love the color of this Michael Kors dress. JLo can really pull off the slicked-back ponytail.

Love the pale nude tone of the this sheath dress

And this was so cute too! She loves her sparkle!

But this is my favorite look so far! I loved the red dress she wore last night for the top 5 performances, and her makeup was beautiful too.
I wonder who is going home tonight?
