Lake time, curly hair, and naps

We've had lots of fun in February! Henry turned 9 months old and we had a ball doing his pictures. Here's one of my favorites: 

We had a great weekend at the lake with friends - loved our time with the Roberts' and the Hills, and those precious baby boys! 

Clearly Sandy was excited to see us when we arrived home - she hopped in the car with us at the top of the driveway! 

Henry's curls are just the cutest thing - especially right after bath time 

And our time together always seems to go by too fast

Henry's bath time

Henry loves bath time! And lately, he's much more interested in pulling up than sitting in the tub! 

He's a happy camper after bath time but when he gets ready for bed, he definitely lets you know. 

And he's usually out in no time! 

I had to share this too - it's too cute not to show...I mean, those rolls! Can you stand it?!?  We had been out and about over the weekend and visiting friends - Henry became a bit fussy so we stripped him down! Worked like a charm! :) 

Little Red Wagon

Finally! After the snowpocalypse of 2014, we have a break in the weather! Henry and I are taking advantage of the sunshine, and are playing outdoors. It's been a bit cold for him to enjoy the wagon that Santa brought him, so we were happy to get a nice afternoon to use it for a while. 

He really wanted Sandy to hop in! 

And Baxter too!

Happy 8 months to our happy Henry!

I really can't believe our Henry is 8 months old....he's just the brightest light in our life! We have the best time as a little trio - me, David and Henry. He makes us laugh and smile all the time! 

How did I get so lucky as to be picked to be his mommy? 

Henry has met many milestones lately - he has 6 teeth now, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. He's great at sitting up on his own and has the cutest army crawl. He loves his walker and just runs and runs! Henry loves exploring the fridge and running into things while in the walker - it's so cute!

Henry is great at standing against the windows, and he's pulling up really well too. 

Henry is quite social, and loves being around people - especially other babies.

Henry attended his first baby shower and tried on a mustache!

Henry is so wonderfully smiley! I pray that he never looses this genuine quality. He makes everyone happy and never meets a stranger! Henry still loves the Bjorn and we use it all the time, but he's really loving being able to sit, especially in the grocery cart. He loves being outside, and has really "discovered" Baxter and Sandy - he chases Baxter all over the kitchen in his walker! 

My friend Maggie's baby Napp celebrated his first birthday and we were tickled to attend!

This is our happy boy early in the morning! Henry sleeps so good for us! He's usually asleep by 9 and gets up between 6 and 7am ....he wakes up happy and it's the most heartwarming feeling to hear those babbles on the monitor and to see that big grin when we lean over his crib! 

Our bathing angel - this baby loves bathtime! Lately, we've needed bathtime more and more with the introduction of solid foods! :) 

He's eating oatmeal, bananas, sweet potatoes, and bread - really anything we let him try. 

I love my days home with Henry - he makes everything fun! I've got someone to come to our house a few days a week so I can work, and he loves her too - maja plus! 

He continues to be a great car rider - thank goodness! And loves looking out the window but most of the time it knocks him right out. Henry is saying all the Ma-Ma's, Da-Da's, and Ba-Ba's too - I love his babbles so much! He can click his tongue and loves when you click back at him. Peek-a-boo, hide and seek, and tickles always get a smile as well. 

We love your smiles Henry and love you so very much!!! 

{Simply Having} A Wonderful Christmas Time :)

Our first Christmas as a family of 3 was so special and fun! Henry was spoiled in the best ways! And gosh, so were we! We loved being with family, and it was fantastic to be in Hawkinsville all week...not so much driving! 

Our week began with Coody Christmas at my Aunt Dinah's beautifully decorated home. 

A lunch of shrimp and grits before opening gifts.

We spent Monday and Tuesday at Pammy & Pop's house....it was wonderful!

We headed to church for Christmas Eve

And woke up early for Henry's first Christmas morning!

I think he had fun, but mommy and daddy loved every minute!

The next day, we headed to Gongaman's for the Hardin swap...loved being with my Aunt Jill and her kids! 

After a breakfast of grits, quiche, sausage, and biscuits, we headed to the living room to open gifts!

So great to have all the grandkids together!

The amazing week at home was capped off with a celebration of both Brince and Laura Lyn's birthdays at Downtown Grille in Macon....it was a perfect night with McLeods and Coodys!

Happy 29th birthday to Brince and 25th birthday to Laura Lyn! Love y'all so much!!
