Birthdays, Wedding parties, and more

 There has been so much to celebrate lately! 

When we arrived home from the beach, we celebrated with a tailgate party for Brince and Laura Lyn 

 

and my mom's birthday a day early at the Swanson house in Perry. It was wonderful to all be together to celebrate her! She's the absolute BEST! 

Henry loved celebrating too. :) 

I loved this of the boys across from the JTF Inc. headquarters 

Henry hit the 8 week mark last week! He's mostly sleeping through the night - his bedtime is 9pm, and he'll sleep anywhere from 6 to 9 hours before he wakes up to feed and then go back to sleep. He's the sweetest baby - he just laughs and coos and smiles, and he loves to kick his arms and legs for his "excercise."

We got to meet sweet baby Emerson last week. My BFF Meghan had her on July 12. She was 6 lbs, 6 oz, and perfect! 

Hollie and Hampton met us there and Henry got some good nap time on aunt Hollie! 

I could eat this little man with a spoon! We planned for them to wear the same thing. ;) 

This may become a trend.

Henry finally got to meet his aunt Christen this past weekend too!

It was wonderful to be with Amy and Christen - we've been friends for so long!

And we celebrated with a stock the bar party for Laura Lyn and Brince at Southern Hills.

Can't wait to share Henry's newborn pics with you all!

Summer Beach Vacay

Our summer vacation was so fun! 

David and I spent part of our time in PCB with my side of the family, and part of our time in Mexico Beach with the Griffin side. It helps that the families vacation at the same time every year only 30 miles apart! 

Henry did great on the ride down - he's a good traveler! 

We were so excited for his first beach trip, and had him 3 outfits to celebrate the 4th in.

It was wonderful to be with my cousins Hugh, Gracie, Chandler and Ivy!

They all loved taking turns holding the baby.

And here's a bunch of the crew watching the fireworks - there were 21 of us in all!

So excited to see these two get hitched in a few short weeks!

Pure patriotism.

During a break in all the rain, we took Henry down to the sand. He loved dozing in his tent! He still loves the outside and seems to be really comforted by the sound of the waves.

Henry mostly stayed indoors and got lots of love!

We enjoyed a night out with B&LL 

He's so responsive now, and loves to talk back!

Later during our vacation, we moved over to Mexico Beach.

We loved spending time with the Griffin crew too...this is little Lizzy - she's grown so much!

Ben was rocking a tan from his time in the sun!

And Henry's first time feeling grass - not sure how it felt! Probably pretty itchy!

Pammy and Pop kept Henry for David and I while we went scalloping in St. Joe Bay - that's Lizzy and Rodney on the boat, David with his catch, our bucket of scallops, and the little kiddos "helping" open the shells.

We capped off the end of Grffin Beach Week with a bonfire on the beach...here's Pammy and Pop with our sleepy little man!
