A Happy 30th Birthday, indeed

Turning 30 kind of sneaked up on me! I'm wrapping my head around not being in my "20's" anymore! ha!

I've had the most fun celebrating for a few weeks now.
My family and a few friends surprised me with a little dinner party back at the end of October...it was so fun to celebrate early!

My mom had my friend Linsey of Two Crazy Cookies do these monogram cookies - I was obsessed!

and she also brought these insanely gorgeous flowers for our dinner table! White hydrangea, orange roses and dusty miller made for the most enchanting combination!

Super fun Greek key plates and place cards, along with clear lucite bamboo flat ware - my fave!

My mom and Laura Lyn strung old {incriminating} pics from the mantel...so sweet and special, and funny too!

I was in heaven with my family and friends here in my home to celebrate this milestone!

Later, during my birthday week, my BFF James came to play for a few days. He had a book signing here in Gainesville, and so we got to celebrate his book and my bday at the same time!

The Marketplace event fell on my birthday, and I had the pleasure of doing the flowers for the Preview Party, and of spending time with my super-fun committee The Artsy Garden.

On Friday of that week, my BFFFFFF Amy came to visit. We capped off the bday week with a trip to Scott's, and had maja luck getting her baby girl's nursery on its way!
Henry can't wait to meet her!

My biggest, and most favorite surprise, was my crazy-sweet hubs planning a trip to NYC for the following week. I was totally surprised! And sooooo excited! When he told me Brince and Laura Lyn would be joining us, it was the icing on the cake!

We left Henry with my in-laws for the weekend, and had a ball exploring the city with my cousin Andrew and his wife Hannah. We love spending time with them, and this trip was no exception!

After an early morning flight out of Atlanta, Friday afternoon was spent walking in the park with our precious tour guide Hannah. It was a gorgeous day to walk around!

He's the BEST!!!

Such a fun time!

Our delicious lunch was at SaraBeth's

I loved our hotel, The Benjamin! It was in a great location, and so nice!

Friday night brought dinner at 100 Acres - David and Andrew had planned our whole weekend....it was amazing!

They even had me a candle to blow out!

We stopped in the park on the walk home to snap some pics and enjoy the city at night!

On Saturday, we had brunch at the National - fabo way to begin our day!

We then spent the day walking around the Highline and exploring the Chelsea Market

Even got a little glimpse of the Statue of Liberty

The afternoon was spent watching the GA/AU game at the Ainsworth with lots of other SEC fans

I was SO EXCITED to see my friend Jennie! And that David's cousin Pamela stopped by too! Love seeing our friends in NYC

We couldn't pull the Dawgs through, but it was fun either way!

Saturday ended with dinner at Marea on Central Park - the best pasta I've ever had in my life!

It was an amazing weekend!!! And it's been so fun to celebrate being 30!
