Our weekend and week was so busy and fun! We had lots of company, starting early in the week!
My mom and our Aunt Vicky came on Tuesday night!
I did pimento cheese BLT's with zucchini pie for Robert, Vicky, David, my mom, and me!
Wednesday morning was spent catching up in our pj's then lunch at 2 Dog and a little antiquing before mom and Vicky had to get back on the road. It was such a fun visit!
On Wednesday night, we joined our friends Colby and Jamie at Lobster Bar in Atlanta. Dinner was crazy good. Everyone shared tuna, steaks, lobster, mac and cheese, and a dessert of bread pudding!
We had the best time!
Also this week, our nephew Ben lost his first tooth!!! My sister in law sent me the picture, and I thought it was too cute not to share!
And in the mean time in south Georgia, my mom and aunt were celebrating our Susie's birthday over breakfast! Doesn't Susie look so pretty in her turquoise!!
On Friday, we were expecting the first of our Labor Day weekend company.
Our friends Clayton and William came in first!
BTW, Baxter is feeling much better. He had surgery to correct his break earlier in the week, and seemed to really enjoy the attention this weekend. ;) He's getting better at scooting around on 3 legs - good thing, since he'll be in a cast for over a month.
While the boys watched the Georgia game on Saturday, Amy and I worked on projects for our upcoming class reunion! We've been working so hard to get everything planned for a fun weekend for our class.
You can feel the green and gold spirit in this little craft project...
After the UGA game, our friends Griffin and Allison came from Athens, as did Brince and Laura Lyn.
In true fashion, Griffin was "iced" shortly after he arrived.
Once the games were over, we headed to the dock to enjoy the gorgeous afternoon.
Sweet Bax did not want to be left, so he was carried down.
Then, it was time for the boys to jump off of the boat house.
Sunday was spent on the water.
It was hot! And we thought it may rain a few times, but it was a fun day either way!
Meghan and Brian came up for the day...
...Cooper loved being on the boat...
...we docked at the Smithsons for a bit...
...and then Jamie brought his fast boat to our house so everyone could have a chance to ski or wake surf!
Chris, Brince, and Amy all did great!
Alli, Meghan, David and I enjoyed cheering them on from the top of the dock!
Last night, our friends Natasha and Trey, along with Callie, Brian, Laura and Brett all came over to join our big crew for one last dinner - a low country boil. We had the best time enjoying our Sunday night and played "Things" until way too late!
Hope you all had a great holiday! And have a fun, short work week!
