A Great Mother's Day Weekend

I apologize for the lack of posts this week! Been a little busy around here!
I wanted to share with you two celebrations over the Mother's Day weekend - one was a party for our friends Will and Liz , and the other was a Mother's Day/Graduation lunch. I love sharing the details, and hope you like seeing them too! :)
The party was hosted at our Aunt Vicky and Uncle Grady's next door to my parents. Several couples helped give the party, including my parents and David's parents. The flowers for the party were yellow and red gerberas, and the decor was in shades of blue and coral.  All of the gerbera daisies looked beautiful in the blue and white vases and the yellow tulipiere.

I totally stole this pic from FB, but this is Liz and Will - they're the couple who the Low Country Boil was thrown for. They'll be getting married on SSI this summer, and we're excited for their wedding!

The hors d'oeuvres were so pretty on the outside table.

And all of the place settings were lovely! I loved the burlap table cloths with the coral and blue color scheme.

Then, on Sunday David and I had the honor of speaking to the highschool graduates and their families at our church during the senior breakfast that morning. We were happy to be asked, and do hope we shared a bit of wisdom with them!
Here's my awesome Mama! Love honoring my Mom - she makes everything special. She's the best!!!!
Afterward, our Mother's Day lunch/Ivy's graduation celebration was at my parent's. My Aunt Jill and her four kids, our friend Patti, and my in-laws all joined together.
All day on Saturday, my mom and me, along with Laura Lyn decorated for Sunday lunch. Ivy graduated from Darlington in Rome - their school colors are purple and white. He'll be attending Center College in Kentucky this fall, and will be running track for the school! So proud of him!

We didn't get a family pic on Sunday, but here's the whole Hardin crew this past Christmas. That's Ivy in the middle in the back between his brother Hugh and my brother Brince.

Mom found the cutest Pinterest project - pirouettes with twizzlers wrapped around them like little diplomas! So cute!

The purple alstromeria flowers and purple pom poms reflected Ivy's school colors.

Mom pulled together some pics of the four Duggans and 4 Coodys growing up together to have on display for the lunch too!

This is one of my favorites! Asa and Ivy are only a few weeks apart, so they were like little twins!

And now, look how grown up and cute they are!

Mom and Dad had an awesome lunch - standing rib roast, broccoli casserole, wild rice casserole, sweet potatoes, and more. It was delicious!

In addition to ice cream crunch, we had "Congratulations Ivy" cupcakes!

And these cute "pops" too!
