Spring Break Round Two: Ben

Our nephew Ben's Spring Break was last week, so he and Amanda spent part of the time with Pammy and Pop in Hawkinsville then met David and I in PCB for another long weekend. They arrived late Thursday night, but we were all ready for a day in the sun by the pool on Friday. Saturday was a a little foggy...but that didn't deter me from still sitting on the beach for a few hours. We all packed up early to leave on Sunday, and we're already excited to go back soon.
Ben is doing so well with his writing! Here he is copying our names.

The little guy insisted on jumping in the big pool, where the water is still super cold!

Here, he's turning a little blue, so we decided that we'd go back to the heated little pool.

And with warmer water, even David was willing to jump in!

Before heading out to dinner at Pineapple Willy's with 1,000 other spring breakers, the boys took some time to pose for me in the mirror.

And to flash those beautiful smiles on the porch.

Ben is a pretty good photographer!

We had to wait a bit at Pineapple Willy's, but Amanda, David, and I enjoyed a brewsky as the sky was setting while entertaining Ben with chips and cheese dip.

Later on, he made himself comfy with some string cheese and "Cat in the Hat." He loved his bunk-bed-filled room. When he first walked in, he asked "Is this all for me?" and of course I said, "Yes baby, this is all for you!" What the little guy wants, the little guy gets.

On our last night at the beach, we trekked down to Pier Park to have dinner and let Ben climb on whatever he wanted to....the jumpy slides, the inflatable bouncy pen, the rock wall, and finish with a couple of flips on the harness flippy thing.

Here he is getting suited up!

He just kept flipping!
