Spring dining

A few weeks ago, David and I hosted our friends Callie and Brian for an early Spring dinner. Feeling the warm weather itch, I had to bring in some color to our table. I stopped at a local church who had these beautiful branches along the trees covered in pink buds....I figured they wouldn't miss just one. A neighbor's forsythia helped out too and the daffodils had just opened in my beds over the weekend. I get so excited to set tables when company is coming, so this was no exception. We had such a nice time with Callie and Brian! Now, I am already brainstorming for our next dinner party!
A few grabs from the yard and I had a pretty, non-distracting centerpiece conducive to conversation with our guests.

I used a mix of my Juliska and R.Wood pottery along with vintage napkins.

These are all getting me excited to set an Easter table with eggs or just a pretty spring-like table!
I love these chargers....and paired with the blue, white and purples...its so crisp!

How adorable are those birds nests and butterflies?

I LOVE this moss runner. You can buy these in a sheet at Michael's.

The white and green in this tablescape are pretty paired with the texture of the bamboo place mats.

Now, you know I love this reindeer moss around the candle in the hurricane!

I love the monochromatic palette of this table setting, and the mix of sticks with hydrangea is the nicest contrast.

Nothing's prettier than tulips mixed with white china!
